Director, GAPP Inc.

 

 

GAPP Incorporated, a partnership of the Geauga, Ashtabula and Portage County Boards of Commissioners is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as the chief administrative officer of the three county employment and training effort providing Workforce Investment Act services and operations in the three county area. The Director will work in conjunction with the agencies and partners affiliated with GAPP to implement the policies and programs of the Workforce Investment Board and the Local Elected Officials.  Applicants should have an undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Business Management and/or Public Administration and a working knowledge of the Workforce Investment Act and its related federal and state regulations and procedures.  A minimum of two years management experience in the public sector or in the administration of related employment and training programs required. 

 

Salary range: $46,072 to $50,648 dependent on background and experience. Excellent benefits including OPERS membership.
