SERVICES PROVIDED:
1. “New Beginnings” Parent Education Class - 2013 Schedule of Classes
A
three-hour, court-mandated program for parents who are getting a
divorce, dissolution or a legal separation; provides education on the
effects of divorce on children and teaches skills for reducing conflict
between parents and keeping children “out of the middle”.
2. Mediation Services
Parents can make an appointment for mediation services on a voluntary basis or they are referred by both
Common Pleas Court and Juvenile Court in hopes of resolving
custody/visitation disputes and developing their own parenting plans
with the help of a trained mediator who serves as a neutral third party.
3. Family Investigations/Home Studies
Provided as a service to both Common Pleas Court in custody/visitation disputes; must be court-ordered.. |
